I build AI products.
AI builder with a product manager's instincts. I find painful workflows and ship working AI that people actually use.
I'm Roei, an AI builder based in Tel Aviv. I like the full arc of a product: sitting with users to understand the real problem, designing the solution, and building it end-to-end with modern AI tooling. My background spans an IAF special-unit product role, co-founding an AI research platform with Yad Vashem, and shipping production AI tools solo.
What I care about: building things people actually use, making good engineering decisions I can defend, and being honest about what a system can and can't do. I hold a B.A. in Information Systems Management from Ben-Gurion University.
Magpie
Shipped · LiveWhat it does: Magpie reads the comment sections under a creator's competitors and turns them into ranked, evidence-backed video ideas. The product bet: the best signal for "what should I make next" isn't keyword volume, it's what real viewers are asking for and complaining about in comments that no one is answering yet.
The product thinking: Most tools stop at shallow semantic matching, "these comments mention X." That surfaces noise, not opportunity. So I built Magpie to reason about a niche the way an insider would, understanding the actual vocabulary, sub-topics, and unmet questions of a space, then cross-referencing them against what competitors already cover to find the genuine gaps. The output isn't "people said this," it's "here's an idea, here's the comment evidence behind it, and here's why it's underserved."
The hard part I'm proud of: a niche-creation agent that handles verticals the system has never seen. When a user submits an unfamiliar niche, the agent calibrates it on the fly, building a structured understanding of that space so the analysis stays accurate instead of generic. Every agent decision is logged, and the system is designed to surface its own failures rather than hide them, because a wrong answer a user can't see is worse than an honest "I couldn't do this well."
"A failure the user can't see is worse than a failure with an explanation."
MEMORA
Shipped · 2nd place, Google/Israel Digital Agency contestAn AI research platform built with Yad Vashem as design partner. I co-founded it and led product, building the solution end-to-end (UI, integrations, prompt and knowledge-base optimization) tuned to meet domain-expert standards. I adapted complex research methodologies into AI-ready structures, improving curator research efficiency by about 60%.
Chasing Fun
University projectMy final university project: a unified knowledge base and CRM automation system for a surf-tour company, built with Make and Pipedrive. It consolidates multiple data sources into one source of truth, with automated flows for task assignment, knowledge management, and form-to-database pipelines, cutting manual work and improving data consistency.
